Dutch apartment building project

A 40 year old apartment building located in the Axel region of the Netherlands, with a total of 22 households, was renovated. During the renovation process, the contractor decided to convert the energy supply of the residents from natural gas to solar energy to meet their electricity, heating, hot water and other needs. However, insufficient roof space is the biggest challenge faced by the project. After the preliminary system design, we have decided to adjust the layout of the roof components and adopt a double slope layout of the main roof, installing component boards in three directions: east, west, and south. In addition, 40 photovoltaic modules have been designed and installed on the exterior walls of the apartment to maximize the installation of the system and ensure that every household can receive as much income as possible.
